    Hammurabi Code

    Astrophysical magnetic fields simulator

Hammurabi is a HEALPix-based tool for simulating observables such as polarized synchrotron and thermal dust emission from models of physical inputs such as magnetic fields, dust and electron distributions, etc. It is a modular C++ framework into which you can add your own models easily and then use it to perform the line-of-sight integration to compute the observables.

    libsharp

Library for spherical harmonic transforms (SHT)

...Libsharp is a collection of algorithms for efficient conversion between maps on the sphere and their spherical harmonic coefficients. It supports a wide range of pixelisations (including HEALPix, GLESP, and ECP). This library is a successor of libpsht (http://sourceforge.net/projects/libpsht). A scientific overview over the functionality is given in the paper available at http://arxiv.org/abs/1303.4945.

    MasQu

    Finite-differencing on the sphere

MasQU is a code for calculating derivatives on grids with regular or irregular pixel distributions, using finite differences. Particularly, it is constructed to perform tensor-mode separation on the HEALPix spherical grid, but can be generalized.

    galprop_skymap_convert

Convert galprop skymaps to standard healpix

A routine for converting GALPROP-generated HealPix skymaps to a compatible format which can be plotted by Aladin (v7), available from CDS at http://aladin.u-strasbg.fr. This allows free rotation of the sphere, avoiding the distortions of Aitoff and other projections often used. It is a very practical way to view and prepare skymap plots of GALPROP output. GALPROP outputs a spectrum per HealPix pixel, while Aladin requires each energy to be stored as a column.

    galplot

    Plot GALPROP output

Plot package for GALPROP https://sourceforge.net/projects/galprop Plots models and data for cosmic-ray spectra, secondary/primary ratios, gamma rays, synchrotron. Includes gamma-ray source population synthesis and corresponding plots. For gamma rays, convolves models with the Fermi-LAT response. This release is to assess interest. It requires many input data files (not included) which will be made available as required. With the data provided cosmic-ray spectra and ratios and source...
