PearOs is an Open Source Operating System written from ground up from Assembly and C#. Using our own CIL Compiler, Kernel, and tools we are developing a fast dependent cool and inspiring project. We want to make a very reliable and expandable Operating System in the long run that is slim and does its job well with good security. Our goal, make something like Linux but different. Our code design and how things work is original and we like to write fast and well working code. PearOs has a very strong base, but is not meant for writing code using C#'s standard calls and functions. Instead there are work arounds and certain things that must be followed due to how the compiler was written. The Compiler uses Microsoft's "IL Disassembler" tool and can parse CIL files and convert them to Assembly.

Project-Sparroh is a hobby operating system project. Goal is to write an OS from scratch for the purposes of learning how they work and for fun. An assembler and high level language cross-compiler will also be written first and used to build the OS.

The aim of this project is to create a fully functional COBOL compiler that translate into Java or directly into bytecode.

Emulator of the ancient 8 bit microprocessor ISP-8A 500D/600D or more common "SC/MP" from National Semiconductor. The download contains all sources plus an executable Java Jar file to start right away. Some SC/MP hex dump examples are provided in directory "/etc" as well. The download also contains unit tests and some helping documentation (also in /etc). You may slow down the CPU operations, displaying the CPUs status register as LEDs, to watch the CPU working with its registers. The emulator also contains a VDU (video display unit) output / ASCII input simulation. An educational software system of a tiny self-compiling C compiler, a tiny self-executing RISC-V emulator, and a tiny self-hosting RISC-V hypervisor. Selfie is a project of the Computational Systems Group at the Department of Computer Sciences of the University of Salzburg in Austria. The Selfie Project provides an educational platform for teaching undergraduate and graduate students the design and implementation of programming languages and runtime systems. The focus is on the construction of compilers, libraries, operating systems, and even virtual machine monitors. The common theme is to identify and resolve self-reference in systems code which is seen as the key challenge when teaching systems engineering, hence the name. Selfie is implemented in a single (!) file and kept minimal for simplicity. There is also a simple in-memory linker, a RISC-U disassembler, a garbage collector, L1 instruction and data caches, a profiler, and a debugger with replay.

Disassembler for Windows(95-XP), currently supports PE, NE, MZ, COM and "unknown" executable formats. Includes also OS independent console version (but requires x86). Output syntax similar to NASM .

This is a port of several development tools for Freescale M68HC08/HCS08 embedded microcontrollers families. Currently work is focused on binutils (as,ld), gdb and sim port. GCC, newlib, etc. porting will start after finishing the main as/ld support.

UniSIMD assembler is a high-level C/C++ macro assembler framework unified across ARM, MIPS, POWER and x86 architectures. It establishes a subset of both BASE and SIMD instruction sets with clearly defined common API, so that application logic can be written and maintained in one place without code replication. The assembler itself isn't a separate tool, but rather a collection of C/C++ header files, which applications need to include directly in order to use. At present, Intel SSE/SSE2/SSE4 and AVX/AVX2/AVX-512 (32/64-bit x86 ISAs), ARMv7 NEON/NEONv2, ARMv8 AArch32 and AArch64 NEON, SVE (32/64-bit ARM ISAs), MIPS 32/64-bit r5/r6 MSA and POWER 32/64-bit VMX/VSX (little/big-endian ISAs) are mostly implemented (/w horizontal reductions) although scalar improvements, wider SIMD vectors with zeroing/merging predicates in 3/4-operand instructions are planned as extensions to current 2/3-operand SPMD-driven vertical SIMD ISA.
