    OLiA

    OWL/DL ontologies for linguistic annotations

MOVED TO https://github.com/acoli-repo/olia. The Ontologies of Linguistic Annotations (OLiA) provide an OWL/DL taxonomy of data categories as a reference for linguistic annotation (OLiA Reference Model), plus OWL/DL models for a large number of annotation schemes (OLiA Annotation Models) and their relationship to reference data categories (OLiA Linking Models). The OLiA Reference Model itself is linked to community-maintained repositories such as GOLD (http://linguistics-ontology.org/) and ISOcat (http://www.isocat.org) The OLiA ontologies were originally developed as part of an infrastructure for the sustainable maintenance of linguistic resources (http://www.sfb441.uni-tuebingen.de/c2/index-engl.html), their fields of application include the formalization of annotation schemes, concept-based querying over heterogeneously annotated corpora, and the development of interoperable NLP pipelines.

    OWL Machine Learning

    Machine learning algorithm using OWL

...Usually, these are very time-consuming and complex tasks because the features have to be manually crafted. The features are aggregated, combined or split to create features from raw data. This project makes use of ontologies to automatically generate features for the ML algorithms. The features are generated by combining the concepts and relationships that are already in the knowledge base, expressed in form of ontology.

LogMap: An Ontology Alignment and Alignment Repair System

...LogMap extract mappings between classes, properties and instances. To the best of our knowledge, LogMap is one of the few matching systems that: 1. can efficiently match semantically rich ontologies containing tens (and even hundreds) of thousands of classes, 2. incorporates sophisticated reasoning and repair techniques to minimise the number of logical inconsistencies, and 3. provides support for user intervention during the matching process (see Web interface).

    OnAGUI - Ontology Alignment GUI

Software to help automatic or manual realisation of ontologi alignment

This project has moved to https://github.com/lmazuel/onagui - OnAGUI (Ontology Alignment Graphical User Interface) is a project of alignment helper and viewer. You can edit ontology (SKOS, OWL) and edit alignment between concept of these ontologies. In addition, you can make automatic discovery of alignment, using different kind of algorithm. This work was initiated by Jean Charlet (http://www.limics.fr/index.php/annuaire), designed and developped by Laurent Mazuel on a post-doctoral project. By now, this project becomes Open Source, and continues to be enhanced by J.Charlet and L.Mazuel.

    S-Match

    S-Match

S-Match is a semantic matching framework.

S-Match is a semantic matching framework. S-Match takes any two tree like structures (such as database schemas, classifications, lightweight ontologies) and returns a set of correspondences between those tree nodes which semantically correspond to one another. S-Match contains implementations of the semantic matching, minimal semantic matching and structure preserving semantic matching algorithms. S-Match applies as a solution in many fields, including: information integration, ontology evolution and alignment, peer-to-peer information sharing, digital libraries integration, web service composition, agent communication, and query answering on the web. ...

    ontocomp

OntoComP is a Protégé 4 plug-in for completing OWL ontologies

OntoComP is a Protégé 4 plug-in for completing OWL ontologies. It enables the user to check whether an OWL ontology contains "all relevant information" about the application domain, and extends the ontology appropriately if this is not the case. It achieves this by asking the user questions of the form "are instances of classes C1 and C2 also instances of class C3?". If the user confirms such a question, then a new axiom of the application domain that does not follow from the ontology has been discovered, and it is added to the ontology. ...
