It was originally designed to work with an Open.Theremin.UNO shield (see http://www.gaudi.ch/OpenTheremin), although it should work with other Arduino devices as long as you provide an appropriate program. Thérémine can play a variety of different tones. -

The Poor Man's Theremin was a project that was available in a Linux Journal article. Due to changes in the Linux audio subsystem, the project no longer works. This is an upgrade that aims to incorporate threads in a single C program.
