IPMI Agent
Read a system's current power consumption easily and quickly
IPMI Agent is a small executable and a C library which makes the current power consumption of the server available for use by scripts or programs. It uses the OpenIMPI project (http://openipmi.sourceforge.net) to obtain a reading from a hardware sensor on any IPMI-compliant server (pretty much all servers are IPMI-compliant). The power reading (and a previously-set idle baseline value) can be read using library routines, directly for use within applications.
