    FCSalyzer

    FCSalyzer

FCSalyzer is a free program for analysing flow cytometry data

FCSalyzer is a free program for analysing flow cytometry data. It is programmed in Java and should therefore work on many different operating systems. FCSalyzer offers an easy What-you-see-is-what-you get interface and provides the standard analysing tools - dot plots, histograms, complex gating strategies and associated statistics. metasort

    metasort

A metagenome assembler by reducing microbial community

...Here we present a novel experimental and bioinformatic framework, metaSort, for effective construction of bacterial genomes from metagenomic samples. MetaSort provides a sorted mini-metagenome approach based on flow cytometry and single-cell sequencing methodologies, and employs new computational algorithms to efficiently recover high-quality genomes from the sorted mini-metagenome by the complementary of the original metagenome. Through extensive evaluations on simulated dataset, salivary and gut microbiomes, we demonstrated that metaSort has an excellent and unbiased performance on genome recovery and assembly.

    Data2FCS

Data2FCS is a simple tool to convert text data files to FCS3.1 data.

...A special treat is the possibility to transform categorical data into numerical data. The resulting FCS data file can be analysed in regular flow cytometry softwares, such as the open source FCSaylzer. For more info, take a look at the Wiki. Data2FCS needs Java 1.7 or higher to run.

    Ploidy Analysis

    Ploidy Analysis

Tools for analyzing Candida albicans flow cytometry data.

A set of Matlab scripts defining two tools. The first tool ('Ploidy_analysis_5.m') loads FCS2.0 format flow cytometry datasets and perform cell cycle model fittings to the raw data, interactively producing one or more ploidy estimates per experimental dataset. The second tool ('Analyze_Aneuploidy.m') can be used to make estimates of likelihood of a certain number of extra chromosomes being responsible for an observed non-euploid ploidy estimate.
