Pooch is a port of MBF to SDL2.
...This is a fantasy some mod authors have that actually makes no sense. Pooch is compatible with all wads that were compatible with DOS MBF, no more, no less. Pooch does contain a Launcher for Windows and macOS. Pooch has two versions, a normal version and an accessibility version, which is designed for those who are sensitive to strobing lights and flashes. The accessibility version removes such effects from the engine, without damaging compatibility. Pooch was the worlds first Doom engine to put those people first. The popular Woof engine was created because I did the worlds first WinMBF port to 64bit, which evolved into Pooch. -
