AnyPS5 is an experimental compatibility project for automatically porting PlayStation 5 executables to Linux and Windows. Instead of emulating an entire console, it relinks executables into native target formats and supplies replacement implementations for required system libraries. The project includes a shader recompiler that can produce SPIR-V for Vulkan-based graphics workflows. Unsupported conditions are deliberately surfaced as runtime errors rather than silently ignored. SDL-compatible game controllers are supported, while keyboard and mouse mappings can be configured separately. The relinker uses C++20 and targets portability across host compilers where practical. AnyPS5 is intended for interoperability, preservation, and research using legally obtained software. -

LightCraft is an open-source photo library and raw-development application written in pure Rust as a clean-room alternative to Lightroom-style workflows. It combines image organization with nondestructive photo editing in one native application. Adjustments include exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, blacks, and local tone processing. Rendering uses a scene-referred, wide-gamut, 32-bit floating-point pipeline designed to preserve color and highlight detail. Original files remain untouched while edits are applied as reversible development settings. The application runs natively on macOS, Windows, and Linux and can also operate in the browser through WebAssembly. Its engine is designed so AI agents can drive workflows end to end through MCP. -

For example, Maxima solves x^2-r*x-s^2-r*s=0, giving the symbolic results [x=r+s, x=-s]. It can also calculate with exact integers and fractions, native floating-point, and high-precision big floats. Maxima has user-friendly front-ends, an online manual, plotting commands, and numerical libraries. It features its own programming language, and many users have contributed useful packages in various areas over the decades. It is GPL-licensed and largely written in Common Lisp.
