    RIO

    Regularity Inspector for Ontologies

RIO is an open source project. It is a framework that uses cluster analysis for the detection of syntactic regularities in ontologies. The implementation of RIO is based on OWLAPI (http://owlapi.sourceforge.net). A standalone Java tool is used for computing regularities, which are then saved in an XML file. The RIO plugin for Protege 4 (http://protege.stanford.edu) can be used for loading and visualising the regularities in Protege ontology editor.

    The Unicode and Texteme Ontologies

Ontologies of Unicode characters, textemes, and text properties

This project hosts: (1) the Unicode Ontology that aims to represent an important part of the Unicode Standard and (2) the Texteme ontology that defines the concept of texteme: a generalized textual element. These ontologies provide the basis for a formal description of written signs not contained in Unicode, but also of text properties that describe new signs or existing Unicode characters. The main idea is to provide an ontological framework upon which written signs (textemes...

RDBToOnto allows to automatically generate fine-tuned OWL ontologies from relational databases. A major feature of this full-fledged tool is the ability to produce structured ontologies with deeper hierarchies by exploiting both the database schema and the stored data. RDBToOnto can be exploited to produce RDF Linked Data. It can also be used to generate highly accurate RDB-to-RDF mapping rules (for D2RQ Server and Triplify).
