Upcoming SourceForge Hardware Refresh

By Community Team

The coming week, February 12th through February 15th, SourceForge and Slashdot will be cutting over to a new datacenter with completely new hardware. While we will be working hard to ensure that there will be as few issues as possible, we still believe the community should be aware in the event any issues arise.

http://picoreplayer.sourceforge.net, http://www.vim.org and many other project sites are still down. Any info when they will be back online?

  2. Michael Black says:

I guess this is why lists.sourceforge.net is down?

    To Whom It May Concern.
Every night at 8:00pm my Dell Windows 10 computer is set to run Synchronicity that is loaded into my computer.
But the past few nights it shows:
Project web is currently offline pending the final migration of its data to our new datacenter.
Why is this happening and what does it mean????????
Please help me too understand what is going on here.

    Thank You,
    AL Occhino

I’ve found this site via experiencing a dysfunctional vim.org. The text given after calling vim.org is currently “Project web is currently offline pending the final migration of its data to our new datacenter.” .
It would be nice to mention SourceForge as the author, as nothing points out the hoster (the referred adress was http://www.vim.org, nothing containing “sourceforge”!!!). I have searched for a long time in vim blogs to find a notice concerning the website downtime.
I propose to change it to: “[…] our new datacenter. You have our apologies. Greetings, SourceForge”

    Hi Team,

When can we expect http://jasperreports.sourceforge.net/maven2/ to be up?

    Thanks.

  6. Steffen says:

What about the Maven repositories like http://jasperreports.sourceforge.net/maven2/
    When will they get fixed?

    Good day,

When I visit http://jasperreports.sourceforge.net/api/net/sf/jasperreports/ant/JRAntCompileTask.html, I get the following response:
Project web is currently offline pending the final migration of its data to our new datacenter.

Is there any timetable for when this issue will be resolved?

    Thank you!

I suppose the SF techs are still busy, since there is no reply from them here?
