We are happy to honor Moodle as our Project of the Month for July 2011. An open source Learning Management System, this tool is an invaluable asset to educators, trainers, instructors or anyone responsible for providing a virtual learning environment. This large team works tirelessly to improve this tool for all who use it, and their hard work has paid off. Moodle is being used by large companies such as Google, Cisco, Shell, BP and others for internal and external training. More importantly, Moodle has helped millions of individual educators and schools manage courses and make virtual learning effective (myself included!).
We salute you, Moodle, for your hard work and tireless efforts over the past 9 years to help educators and learning establishments do their jobs better. By making teaching easier, you make learning easier, and that helps us all.
