Hey!
By now, you’ve probably noticed that new Community link in our navigation, and you’re probably wondering what it is. This new Community Section contains tools you can use to talk to us, talk to each other, and find out what’s going on in the SF.net community.
We’ve added forums for general help, ideas for projects that haven’t been started yet, and a variety of other places for people to congregate and discuss. We’ve also got a blog where you can read posts from members of the SF.net crew and community, and a calendar where you can learn about upcoming events.
I suppose I’d better introduce myself, while I’m at it! I’m Ross Turk, the Community Manager for SourceForge.net, and my job is to use whatever means necessary to learn about our users and use that knowledge to influence the strategic direction of our services. That means I’ll be watching this Community Section very closely!
