Quick overview
Zapya is a peer-to-peer file transfer app from Dewmobile that removes the need for cables, mobile data, or an active Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth connection. Install the app on both devices and you can move photos, videos, documents, and other files directly between them without the usual network hassles.
How devices connect
Both sender and receiver must have Zapya installed for any transfer to work. After installation, devices can pair using one of two methods:
- Create and join a temporary group: the sender sets up a group that nearby users can discover and enter to receive files. Note: groups are limited to a maximum of five participants.
- Scan a generated QR code: when a transfer is initiated, the sender’s device produces a QR graphic that the recipient scans to establish a one‑to‑one connection.
Extra tools and capabilities
Zapya includes several additional features that go beyond simple file exchange:
- Phone clone: copy contacts, messages, apps, and other phone data quickly from one handset to another.
- Built‑in video network: a social-style area where users can watch, like, comment on, and share video content.
- Cross-platform sharing: move files between Android, iOS, Windows, and other supported systems without relying on external cloud services.
Why it’s useful
Because it eliminates cables and network configuration, Zapya speeds up routine file transfers and simplifies sharing among friends, coworkers, or across your own devices. Its straightforward pairing options and extra utilities (like phone cloning and a native video hub) make it a practical tool for boosting productivity when moving data between devices.
