WHOOP Performance Optimization is a free iPhone application that requires a WHOOP wearable to operate. The app continuously monitors your biometrics and uses that data to offer tailored coaching aimed at improving daily performance and long-term fitness goals.
Continuous monitoring and personalization
The device records physiological signals around the clock to learn your unique patterns. Over time it adapts recommendations — from optimal bedtimes to specific daily behaviors — based on how your body responds.

- General health biometrics (heart rate, HRV, etc.)

- Sleep (quality and duration)
How guidance is delivered
Every morning the app assigns a nightly sleep score on a 0–100 scale and can wake you according to its Sleep Coach suggestions to improve next-day performance. During the day WHOOP estimates physical and mental stress and produces a Strain score on a 0–21 scale.
