Imagine accessing a remote FTP site exactly the same way you open any folder on your desktop. WebDrive makes this possible by letting you mount remote servers so they show up in your system’s file manager, giving you direct, file‑system style access without launching a separate FTP client.

Supported protocols and security features

WebDrive works with a wide range of server types — including SFTP, WebDAV, FTP, FTPS and GroupDrive — and keeps transfers protected with SSH and SSL/TLS encryption. It also supports Digest Authentication for WebDAV endpoints, so you don’t have to sacrifice security for convenience.

Simple setup process

Getting connected only takes a few inputs:

• Pick a label for the mounted drive so it’s easy to identify.
• Supply the username and password for the account.
• Enter the host name or IP address of the server.
• Optionally set the initial remote directory you want opened when the drive mounts.

After saving that configuration as a site profile, select it and choose “Mount.” If the connection succeeds, the remote location will appear alongside your other drives and folders.
