Brief overview
Staircase for Timberborn is a free add-on that broadens building options by giving beavers more flexible vertical movement. Instead of only climbing straight ramps, beavers can now use structures that let them climb and traverse sideways, making multi-level settlements easier to navigate and design.
New construction pieces
- Support columns and pillar variants for creating raised platforms and multi-tiered walkways.
- A sturdy metal stair option with an industrial look, suited for modern-style layouts.
- Helical/spiral stairs that save footprint while connecting different elevations.
- Large log step units that match Timberborn’s rustic aesthetic for natural-looking vertical links.
Installation and where to find the items
The mod is simple to add to your game — install it through either the Steam Workshop or Mod.io’s Mod Manager. It has been slimmed down so BepInEx is no longer required, which reduces installation complexity and the mod’s overall size. After installation, the new staircase pieces appear in the Paths (or walkways) category of the building menu.
Compatibility and contributors
This project was created collaboratively by multiple authors and includes language translations to reach a wider audience. The mod is intended to integrate smoothly with standard Timberborn builds; check the mod page for any notes about compatibility with other community content.
