Game snapshot
SCP: Secret Laboratory is a free, first-person multiplayer horror title that takes place inside a breached research complex where the experimental subjects have run loose. Rounds put teams with conflicting aims into close quarters, and each match ends when one faction completes its mission set. The unpredictable layout and role assignment mean each session feels fresh.
Roles you can choose
- Contained entities and escaped SCPs (play as anomalous specimens with unique abilities)
- Armed response teams and security personnel (tasked with neutralizing threats)
- Laboratory staff and researchers (focused on survival and protecting data)
Typical match objectives
- Evacuate the facility and survive until extraction arrives
- Neutralize hostile anomalies before they overwhelm the base
- Locate and escort researchers to safety
Why it stays interesting
Maps, spawn points, and which players take which roles are randomized every round. That procedural variation, combined with asymmetrical team goals, creates high replay value and tense, unpredictable encounters.
