Ever hear a track on the radio, at a party, or on TV and wish you knew its title? Install Shazam on your PC and you can identify tunes in seconds. Just let the app listen and it will return the song title, artist, and album information almost immediately.

Using Shazam on your computer

To tag a track, hold your computer’s microphone near the speaker and press the Tag Now (or equivalent) control. The app captures a short audio sample, sends a compact audio fingerprint over the internet, and compares it to a very large music catalog. When it finds a match, Shazam displays the song details and offers ways to share or save the result.
