SeatBoost is a no-cost iPhone application that runs live, last-minute auctions for seat upgrades. Bidding opens as early as 24 hours before departure, and you can place offers for upgrades into higher fare classes. You may submit bids for yourself and any companions traveling with you. If your bid succeeds, you are only charged for the upgrade when the auction concludes.

Quick steps to join an auction

• Locate the specific flight you want to upgrade and enter its live auction.

• If your bid wins, the charge for the upgrade is processed at the end of the auction.
