macOS companion for Parallels Access

Parallels Access provides a macOS client that lets you reach applications installed on both Mac and Windows machines from a mobile device. Install this client on the Mac you want to control, then connect to it from your phone or tablet to run desktop apps remotely.

Remote applications you can use

  • Internet Explorer (via a hosted Windows session)
  • Adobe Photoshop and other creative tools
  • iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, Keynote)
  • Microsoft Office apps

Mobile devices supported

  • Android phones and tablets
  • iPhone and iPad devices
  • Windows Phone (where supported)

If you’re looking for a lightweight, no-cost companion, consider CheatSheet — a free utility some users pair with Parallels Access workflows to simplify shortcuts and on-screen hints.

Important usage notes

  • This download is the client component required to link a mobile device (for example, an iPhone or Android) to a Parallels Access host.
  • If you frequently switch between Windows PCs and Macs, Parallels Access makes it practical to work on either platform from a single mobile device, keeping your desktop applications available wherever you are.
