Linking mmhmm with Zoom (quick setup)

1. Start mmhmm first so its virtual camera is active.
2. Update Zoom to version 5.1.2 or later by choosing the Zoom menu (zoom.us) and selecting “Check for Updates.”
3. Disable Zoom’s built-in virtual backgrounds before attempting to use an external virtual camera.
4. Open Zoom and pick “mmhmm Camera” as the video input source.
5. If the mmhmm option doesn’t appear, quit and relaunch the Zoom application and select it again.

Tips for the clearest presentations

• For text-heavy slides or documents, use Zoom’s Share Screen instead of relying on camera capture; this preserves sharpness and detail.
