Overview

Ge.tt is a lightweight, no-frills web service for quick file distribution. It lets you share files instantly through a browser without installing software, and recipients can begin downloading as uploads continue.

How transfers work

Files start transferring immediately after you begin the upload, so people can retrieve content in near real time rather than waiting for the entire upload to complete. The interface is straightforward and does not force account creation for basic use.

Account types and limits

• Premium+ subscribers receive the largest allocations: expanded (even permanent) storage and no cap on daily downloads.
• Registered (free) users get modest perks over anonymous visitors, including extended retention periods for stored files.
• Guests (no account) and free accounts begin with 250 MB of storage and a 250 MB per-file size cap; daily download allowances differ by account status (for example, registered free accounts typically have a larger daily download quota than anonymous sessions).
