Technical foundation

Most modern aircraft broadcast their position and other telemetry using ADS‑B transponders. This app aggregates those broadcasts using a worldwide array of ground receivers — a network of more than 17,000 stations — and fuses that data with multilateration and other real‑time feeds. The combined information is processed and displayed as moving aircraft on the app’s maps, giving you an accurate, up‑to‑date view of global air traffic.
