DIRGHAYU — Mobile Access for Retirees

DIRGHAYU is a complimentary Android application developed by the National Informatics Centre to help retired government employees and family pensioners access services from the Central Pension Accounting Office (CPAO) quickly and conveniently.

How to Enroll

To create an account, users must supply:

• their PPO number,
• their date of birth, and
• the date of retirement (or, for family pensioners, the date of death of the pensioner).

Once registered, the app opens access to a range of CPAO services without visiting an office.

• Feedback submission tool so users can report issues or suggest improvements.
• Register and track service or help requests with real-time status updates.
• Download copies of pension and revision orders sent to banks in PDF format.
• Maintain an electronic archive of pension and revision orders for easy reference.
• View a consolidated pensioner profile showing personal and pension details.
• Monitor the processing status of pension-related actions.
• See information on the most recent life certificate submitted.
• Review details of the most recent 24 pension transactions.

Quick Access Details

The app provides immediate visibility of key items such as basic pension amount, the count of revisions applied, the last paid amount, and the date of the latest life certificate update. It also lists all SSA documents issued for a pensioner and enables downloading available SSA files in PDF.

Files, Downloads and Support

All downloadable documents (pension orders, revision orders, SSAs) are available as PDFs for offline storage or sharing with banks and family members. For unresolved issues, use the help-request feature and monitor responses through the app’s status tracker.
