Overview
CDex is a free, open-source utility designed to extract audio from compact discs and save the result as standard audio files. Its primary use is ripping tracks from audio CDs and producing editable files for further processing or playback.
Supported output types
In addition to writing uncompressed WAV files, the application can encode ripped audio into several popular compressed formats, including MP3, FLAC, AAC, and OGG, giving you flexibility for storage space and quality.
