Brinno Connect — simplified camera control from your PC
Brinno Connect is a Windows application built to work with BCC2000 and BCC2000 Plus time-lapse cameras. Using the Camera Extender Kit (AFB1000), it lets you manage camera tasks from a laptop so you don’t need to handle the camera directly.
Core functions you can access remotely
- Check battery condition and SD card capacity from the software interface.
- Change camera settings and preferences without touching the device.
- Preview the camera’s framing and composition live on your computer screen.
Why this makes managing cameras easier
Because all controls and monitoring are available in a single desktop interface, routine tasks become faster and less error-prone. The app removes much of the need to physically interact with the camera, which speeds setup and monitoring. It’s also offered at no cost, making it an accessible option for users who want a straightforward toolset for camera management.
An alternate option to consider
If your primary need is moving media files rather than remote camera control, consider SHAREit (free) as a companion tool for transferring images and video between devices. Note that SHAREit does not replicate Brinno Connect’s remote-control features, but it can simplify media sharing once files are exported.
Quick getting-started notes
