Syncing and forwarding text messages between devices

This feature lets you forward SMS messages from one device to another — for example, from a phone to a PC or to a different mobile number. It can route messages automatically according to rules you define, and can deliver texts to email inboxes or other apps when configured.

Steps to send a message to another device

• Copy the target phone number or destination address you want the message sent to.
• Choose how you want the message forwarded (direct SMS, email, or another integrated application).
• Enter or select the SMS content you intend to transfer.

If you want forwarded messages to be delivered to an email account or a specific third-party app, open the application’s Options (or Settings) menu and configure the destination there.

Rules, limitations, and supported destinations

• Messages can be forwarded only to phone numbers listed in the permitted-address list; forwarding to unspecified numbers can be restricted.
• Automatic forwarding can be triggered on receipt so that incoming messages are immediately sent to a designated email address or device according to the rules you set.
• The system supports forwarding to a variety of mail services and compatible applications; check the app’s integrations to confirm which services are available.
