I second this request. Since I don't use my SF address for anything important, I'd especially like to be able to set a low minimum score for rejection.

The sender verification did eventually succeed after about half a day. So this isn't an urgent issue by any means, but it is still very odd that the SF server would repeatedly connect to my server, do half an SMTP conversation, and quit.

SF's mail server is trying to verify my email address before it will let me post to a mailing list. However, it seems to be disconnecting from my server before actually trying to send the verification message. Here is a transcript of one of the SMTP sessions (captured with tcpflow):

A1 creates a log file in the user's home directory on Mac OS X. (Don't
know about other platforms.) Most people would rather that apps didn't
clutter up their home directory. The appropriate location for the log
would be either ~/Library/Logs/ or ~/Library/Application Support/Aleph
One/.

I finally got some time to try your suggestion. Unfortunately, Deus Ex doesn't seem to want to use anything other than the real Classic RAVE driver no matter where it is placed. I tried the original and "faked" 3Dfx RAVE in the same folder as the app, in the game's System folder, and in the Extensions folder.

I tried this, but Deus Ex wouldn't let me select the RAVE renderer with the "fake" Classic RAVE installed.

I am subscribed to a mailing list with my SourceForge mail alias
, and I am not receiving the
messages posted to the list. Other mail sent to the SF alias, and the
account it forwards to, is received just fine (as far as I can tell).
The mailing list in question is Qemu-devel, hosted on lists.nongnu.org
