did you take a look with zyedidia project the micro editor maybe the another host for BRiEF :-) but still missing some parts for emulator

which really help solve grief on tmux

key binding under screen or tmux

just copy /usr/share/jed to /usr/jed it works happy briefing in JED

Thanks for update, I'm build from your source but libslang2 is from apt-get the slang version is 2.3.0 don't know which slang lib you are using I'm trying build again hope it can work, I also brief style everywhere :-D
