I'm not sure what a pull request is, neither how to do it. Can anyone tell, if this patch is included in the binaries for Mac right now (2017) ? Because the failure message from the feed at: https://epetitionen.bundestag.de/petitionen/rss.xml which says that the website needs temporary cookies which are not active in the browser, RSS Validator affirms that: http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=https%3A%2F%2Fepetitionen.bundestag.de%2Fpetitionen%2Frss.xml is still coming on RSSOwl Version 2.2.1...

Hello, I recently "patched" my Java installation to be able to get HTTPS RSS Feeds. While the patching seems to work (updating feeds not take a lot longer and no red crosses are shown anymore on HTTPS feeds) this one (which looks valid, when opening in FireFox Browser) seems to have problems being fetched: https://www.privacy-handbuch.de/changelog-handbuch.rss I'm on Mac OSX Sierra with RSSOwl Version: 2.2.1, Build Id: 2013-12-30 Here is the exported log. !SESSION 2017-07-04 14:29:06.708 -----------------------------------------------...

Unfortunately, that Did not had any effect. I was'nt sure, what java version I'm running, OR, which java version RSS Owl is using. on the console, "java -version" (not --version) shows: Java version "1.6.0_65" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_65-b14-468-11M4833) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.65-b04-468, mixed mode) The SystemPrefs Java Control Panel shows: Java 8u131 Checking the exported rssowl.log, from the RSSOwl Menu Help->export logfile, I read: eclipse.buildId=unknown...

EDIT: Ok, found the problem... dunno why, but: (java install was borked) A fresh java install did the job. The installation created a hard-(or soft-)link to the above path with files, that are not null bytes in size... Sorry for stealing your time!
