This is related to my previous post, where I'm loosing position data on controller power off. It seems that in v295, in the setup(), it's "moving" the data to the next EEPROM section by setting the validdata flag to 0 in the current block. However, it doesn't write the new block immediately like it did in v294. This results in a period of time (after setup() and before the next EEPROM write), that there is no EEPROM data block that is marked as valid. Long story short, a line was removed in v295...
I just upgraded the firmware from v270 to v295 on my Arduino-based DRV8825HW203 focuser, and am now seeing strange behavior. The Windows app (2.4.4.5) successfully connects and controls the focuser, but once I disconnect the app, wait 30 seconds, then unplug the USB cable from the Nano, it seems that it's loosing the focuser Position. Because when I plug the cable back in, reconnect the Windows app, the values are reset: Position=5000 and Max Steps=10000. If I don't unplug the cable (just disconnect...
