Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to import tuned BIPs and VT parameters in DWSIM without having to go through the characterization and tuning/regression in DWSIM or make manual changes. This would be quite handy if one needs to import these parameters for an already tuned EOS (like PR or SRK) which can be available in an excel sheet or text file. Thanks for your thoughts. Amin
Thanks for taking care of this issue. Seems ok now after latest update.
Thanks for quick response... I opened a previously saved model with 6.1 and ran it with 6.2. THis is what I get using today's download 2 Oct. I think I got the same thing last night with 1 Oct download.
Hello.. has anyone encountered a problem converging with 6.2? I just installed it and ran previous models I had before using PR and SRK but neither is working anymore when they worked fine before. Compatibility issues?
Noted and thanks for sharing this information. I will try to get the default BIPs from the colleague who ran this on the commercial simulator I mentioned before.
Thanks Daniel, Lucas for continued attention to this issue. The commercial simulator uses daufalt BIP so I am not sure if this will have a corrective effect on what we are seeing here (composition misallocation). However I will give it a try but I would appreciate having a closer look from you end just in case.
Thanks Daniel. I will try COCO but I already have results from a commercial process simulator that I can share with you. Can I send to your email?
For completness, I tried almost all other property packages. The sepration yields vapor only and no liquid. This was not the case before when SRK converged albeit with vapor and liquid composition showing in the wrong stream as explained before.
