RFE: it would be great if there was an option to make
the automatically generated TOC for reference/* be
produced in alphabetically sorted order by the title.
(using the HTML output from the XSL stylesheets)

(At the moment I can almost produce this if I modify
the subtoc template in autotoc.xsl to add an xsl:sort
in the first apply-templates, though it seems to ignore
the first refentry for some reason)

I think that would be a mistake. It would lead to a ToC that
was out of order with respect to the actual pages
(forward/back navigation, for example, would yield possibly
    surprising results).

I think a better answer is to sort your refentry pages into
    alphabetical order
    in the XML sources.
