pReader is an eBook Reader for WebOS (Palm Pre/Pixi and HP TouchPad) that is currently supporting plain-text, PalmDOC ePub, and various other eBook formats (without DRM). It is written entirely in JavaScript and reads the files directly from the media partition.

A beta version that uses a native C++ backend is also available.

User Reviews

  • Good work:)
  • great ePub reader for HP Touchpad!
  • Nice bit of code, but I wish there a way to add multiple files to the library, instead of the one-at-a-time method that exists now. I put several hundred books and stories on my Palm Pre, and having to enter each one separately is really tiresome...
  • I just posted a review with a typ0 error. I would give this app a 9.5 our of 10!
