YAAMIDRUM is an open hard- and sotware project. Attention! Since Arduino 1.0 you must use the YAAMIDRUM_1_1.ino and the recent Pololu library (here: v. 2.0.0 ) To build it, you need an Arduino microcontroller (http://www.arduino.cc/) and some skills to work with piezos, diodes and resistors. Download the Arduino IDE, load YAAMIDRUM_x_x.pde (for older Arduino IDEs, say up to arduino 0022) into it, compile and upload it to your Arduino hardware and you are done! Look into the sources (.pde or .ino) and you'll find enough information on how to connect the hardware to the arduino. More info will follow soon. TODO: - Write a howto and put some schematics on the web. Improvements in Version 1.2 made code compatible with Arduino IDE 1.0 Version 1.1 added code to improve and fasten analog read functions. Now even drumrolls are playable and sound more natural.
