Hello,
I had/have the same problem and in reading your post bjasspa, I've finally succeeded to find something I can say "ok".
So, let's do it:
- PN: *\steam.exe

- Tick everything off except "Keep all windows of this application together"
- On Hidden Window Activation : Default
- Method for hiding...

Hi, sorry for the delayed reply. I turned on logging and switched from window 1 - which has Outlook 2007 open to window 2.
I see a gap in the log for a few seconds where nothing's printed out.. does this help? Again, I never have this kind of delay switching between any other windows. If Outlook is minimized there isn't a delay either.

Thank you, the solution is at https://sourceforge.net/projects/virtuawin/forums/forum/257054/topic/3413433
Might want to add PN:C:\cygwin\bin\XWin.exe Hide by move window
as a builtin default.
Close as not a bug when you decide if you want to add a default rule
or not, or perhaps just add to FAQ.
Thanx!

Sorry, one other thing, the mouse drag worked too. At first it didn't but then I realized mouse control was disabled by default.
Again, many thanks....

Hi!
I'd like to suggest a feature whose absence already had me being late to several meetings. 8-)
It is: add a window rule action "raise to top".
VirtuaWin allows me to show a window on all desktops. For me, the main use of this feature is to show message windows like appointment reminders no matter on which desktop I am. But as it is, this feature is incomplete for this purpose: it...

It would be possible to show the "GPL" with a button "NEXT".
But it is not correct to have button "I agree" or prevent
installing the software, no matter what.
The "Agree" wouldn't be...

This sounds identical to the one raised in the recent Forum topic 'cygwin/X' (https://sourceforge.net/projects/virtuawin/forums/forum/257054/topic/3413433) - can you please try the same solution and let me know if the same fix works.
Thanks.

Can you please try running VW as Administrator and see if this fixes some of the issues?
Thanks.

I suggest you create a hotkey to open the window menu, you can then use this hotkey rather than the middle mouse button.
