  VirtuaWin with either the iconize or KvasdoPager module is simply wonderful. I have use VirtualDimension for YEARS and have had to change because VD has an issue with disappearing Windows Explorer which finally drove me nutz. So far, while VW has flaws it is fast and solid. I give this two thumbs up!

  Excellent! Fast, and Very Lightweight. I am running Win2000 on a Laptop from the same era, and it takes up 4,000k memory, and 00 CPU cycles (according to task manager). Didn't spend to much time (30sec) customizing it , but the "Help File" that comes with it seems useful. This works better then virtual desktops I have used on Linux, admittedly I usually just go with the defaults/standard of the distro. There looks like there is an array of usual plug-ins aswell (hopefully they don't slow it down). VirtuaWin > Usual Standard Virtual Desktop BONUS': -Portable App: Just put it on a USB, great if you are not able to install it. (haven't tried, yet!) -This thing even supports Win95.
