The menu demo is about 80% rewritten in PHP and discussion is underway for how the API should work for module plugin. A new home page is being designed for the project site.
The UST project, a project to bring a console-based, menu-ed, system admin tool to Debian-based Linux, welcomes aboard Georgy (codingmaster) to the Project Manager/Admin position. His previous experience in building admin applications in PHP makes it the ideal fit for this project. He brings great ideas and is ready to hammer out the initial framework so that other developers can sign on board to build modules within this framework. As well, he has already decided to rename the project from Ubuntu System Tool to another name such as Ultimate System Tool, and will also make it work with Debian-based Linuxes instead of just Ubuntu. We welcome Georgy and look forward to seeing other developers enlist after the initial framework is built.
