These are the Debian packages for the Ur-Quan Masters HD Mod beta. There are currently packages for Debian Wheezy, Ubuntu Trusty Tahr, and Ubuntu Utopic Unicorn hosted here. To run uqm-hd, you will need: 1) The binary for your system (in the subdirectories named for distribution codenames, for instance Debian Wheezy binaries are in wheezy/) 2) Some combination of content packages, all found in this top directory. uqm-hd-content_0.2-1_all.deb is mandatory. You will almost certainly want uqm-hd-hires4x_0.2-1_all.deb and uqm-hd-hires2x_0.2-1_all.deb as well; these contain the actual hi-res graphics, for 1280x960 and 640x480 resolutions, respectively. The other content packages are optional, but certainly good to have; for a full experience getting them all is suggested. Source packages are in the subdirectory labeled 'src'; if your distribution or architecture is not supported by any prebuilt binaries, you will want to get these. See this link for general help with compiling my UQM packages (note that you will need to download the source packages *here*, the HOWTO points you towards vanilla packages): http://plantmonster.net/~oldlaptop/uqm-packages/deb/uf/compiling-help.html If you require technical assistance, I can be found in #sc2 on Freenode. - oldlaptop
