This is what shows on the opening screen of the game I am playing: -Ur-Quan Masters HD v0.7.0+HD Mod BETA-SVNr1338 I have been really loving this game. Never played the original Star Control 2 but observed some of it--enough to know that Ur-Quan Masters HD is the best to play. But sadly, and the reason I give it a design value of 1 instead of 5 and a 1-star rating instead of 5-star, is because of a SAVE GAME glitch. I've been playing the game for many hours and am guessing I am halfway through it. When I attempt to SAVE, I get kicked out of the game and the SAVE slot is left empty. This game-destroying glitch is the only one I noticed for all my hours of play. If there is an Arilou game technician out there receiving this message, HELP this hapless human, PLEASE. By helping me, you will be helping all the other hapless humans who start this game not knowing the hideous SAVE bug waiting to chew them up.

Excellent game. Brought me back to nineties instantly. But the best thing is that this game represents an example of how the game industry has degenerated so badly. If you like space sci-fi RPG games, it takes you from the start. No tutorial, debriefings and so on. Just explore! NOTE: It runs the first time, but if you try to execute it again will crash except you "Execute as Administrator". If you don't know how to do it, search the Internet...

Worked once, and I mean ran exactly one time, then never again. Crashes to desktop every single time, even when reinstalled. It's not even a Windows 10 machine, just an old Win 7 Enterprise box I happened to have. How does it work one time, then fail even after clean reinstalls? I've never seen that, EVER. Highly disappointing.
