The TRAKTemplate.bak file is a MooD International backup file (www.moodinternational.com). It contains a template that implements the TRAK metamodel in MooD. This template provides complete coverage of all of the viewpoints, views, elements and relationships that form the content metamodel of the TRAK Architecture Framework. You can use it as a blueprint for developing TRAK architecture descriptions in MooD.

It also provides:-
*	A complete set of themes covering all TRAK viewpoints and architecture element types;
*	A fully documented TRAK metamodel modelled in MooD itself, to use as a guide to how the metamodel has been implemented and can be used;
*	Model masters for each of the TRAK viewpoints that ensure that all views in a viewpoint have the same look and feel;
*	A set of pre-defined styles for each of the TRAK viewpoints that ensure that each architecture element can be drawn rapidly and consistently;
*	A set of model management queries that simplify maintenance of your models;
*	A web publishing template to simplify the generation of html versions of your architecture models.

In addition, this project contains a complete worked example of the use of this template to describe real-world concerns.

Files
======
This project contains the following downloads:

1) TRAKTemplate.bak - a MooD template that implements the TRAK metamodel. This can be used as a blueprint for developing TRAK architecture descriptions in MooD;

2) The TRAK_Example folder contains an example of an architecture description developed in MooD using this TRAK template.

3) This template has been developed for use in MooD Version 15. The MooD_2010 folder contains a template for use in the previous version of MooD (MooD 2010) along with its own worked example.

Installation
=========
To install this template, start the MooD Repository manager and restore the back-up file to your Server. Once restored, right-click on the repository and select "Use as blueprint".

Once this is done, any MooD repostory you create using the TRAK blueprint will provide a fully TRAK-compliant architecture description.

Defining TRAK Documents
=======================
TRAK is defined by 3 documents.

The top level TRAK definition is at http://trak.sourceforge.net,. This describes important ideas, choice of architecture description language, colour rules, bye laws, conformance with TRAK and the minimal modelling process. It invokes the following 2 documents:

The TRAK architecture view definitions (architecture viewpoints) are available at http://trakviewpoints.sourceforge.net

The TRAK metamodel is available at http://trakmetamodel.sourceforge.net. This defines the architecture description element types (stereotypes) and relationships that are implemented by this plugin.

Support
=======
On the SourceForge site (http://mdgfortrak.sourceforge.net) there is a Tracker where you can submit bugs, feature requests or support requests.

There is also a wiki on the SourceForge site at https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/mdgfortrak/
