tinyhttpd is a relatively simple webserver I wrote for a school project. While exceedingly simple, tinyhttpd is threaded and handles basic CGI scripts! This is an educational tool to demonstrate the concepts behind http.
what's the point of hosting few files to sf and never develop the project again?
I just discovered that you can compile and run tinyhttpd for Windows using the Cygwin libraries. (See http://www.cygwin.com/ for details.) I knew about cygwin before, but now I've officially tested it. You do have to follow the instructions in the source code to make changes as if compiling for Linux. Sorry about that; one day configure will handle this for you.
