The icon is too big for the average task bar in Ubuntu and it does not have a transparent background.
It is too easy to exit the application. Instead of exiting, the application should be minimized to the task bar, as is customary for many other applications in the task bar, since time tracking is usually something people use most of the time. Only Reports|Quit and...

it works for me (kubuntu jaunty/karmic) as with and without path. I've decided to remove it.
Fix in svn. Will be in next 1.2.3 release.

The .desktop file contains an invalid Path=$HOME which (at least in Ununtu Jaunty) causes the launch to fail. Deleting this line is definitely one solution. I do not know enough about this to decide what should the Path= be, but I cannot find any other .desktop with this parameter.

What I would need would be a report which woud sum up the daily hours of subtasks as a total of daily hous of a parent task..
For example (say, it's a weekly report):
Day1
Project1 - 5:23
subproject1 2:23
subproject2 3:00
Day2
.... (you get the picture)
That would be great in that it allows to easily track hours spent per day per project.
