Released on 30 Jan 09 - Sonius 1.1.869 Final is the final release in the Sonius 1 series. The Sonius 1.2 Beta builds and existing releases of 1.2.x are being scrapped, in favor of a full-out rebuild from the ground up, tentatively to be called Sonius II. Citing numerous repeated issues with the List, as well as failed attempts to implement DJ Bot features, they have been completely removed from Sonius 1.1 for the final release, code and all. This is also the reason I have scrapped development with 1.2, since its main advancement was to be DJ Bot. Also leading to a complete rebuild is the fact that I have decided to move the project to a new development code. This will potentially be C#, but may be C++, or some other unforseen platform. Development of Sonius II may be long, updates few and far between, but I promise it will come. Until then, I hope Sonius 1 will fill your basic hotkey needs, and I hope that when Sonius II arrives, its auto DJ features will impress you. Til then, you will be able to see periodic updates at http://www.textonic.cc ~Chris
1.1.869 removes the problematic playlist function and all references to the unimplemented DJ Bot. Code for these was also removed to avoid any problems with them.

Two new releases - the first is the final release of 1.1. Second is 1.2 Beta, the first release with radio automation functions. These functions will allow for a folder of mp3's to be played in random order, and eventually allow for another set of files to be played near the top of the hour. This is not fully functional yet - there are some issues with the top-of-hour playback. Old requirements still apply - .Net 2.0 Framework and mplayer2.exe must still be on your computer. Also, there is questionable reliability with Windows Vista, most likely will not be updated to work with Vista. Win 2k or XP is highly recomended.
