Hi Karen,
I would like to suggest the term: Processed_Transcript
Definition: an RNA transcript of a genomic locus for which no open reading frame has been identified and for which no other function has been determined.
Parent: transcript (SO:0000673)
We have been calling these "transcripts of unknown function" but both Vega and Ensembl use "processed transcript" in this context and...
