  • Animation Sequence running on Linux

Apologies for the lack of news, but Real Life keeps getting in the way of this project. Anyway, the latest news is that I have replaced the animation sequences within the SoA pox files with png files. They used to be a custom bitmap format. This reduces the file sizes a little and makes them easier to decode. To ensure it is working, I created a small animation demo showing the main character...

  • Followup: RE: Graphics Reader?

Hi! Your best bet would be to check out the source code. Have a look at the module which handles the graphics. Examination of that will surely reveal how to read POX files then you could probably write the converter yourself. --Hoplite.

  • Graphics Reader?

Hi! I'd like to open some graphics, but they're on .POX Files. Has anyone created a program to read them and save as gif/bmp? How can I do it? Thanks!

  • Siege of Avalon Forums

Thanks to edwinem's suggestion, I have created a forum dedicated to Siege of Avalon, both the game and the open source project. Just browse to: http://mtbekhit.f2s.com If the admin wants, this can be incorporated into their main website. Just give me an email. --Hoplite.

OK! The forum is up! Just browse to: http://mtbekhit.f2s.com Spread this everywhere! Perhaps Pillars of Avalon can be played on day... --Hoplite.

  • Followup: RE: Any progress?

Another suggestion would be for the project members to add a forum to their website. I think it's a very good website and if they can put a forum there, the better. If not, we can still have one anyway. Hmm...I'll get started on it now, I got nothing much to do this evening anyhow! --Hoplite.

The webspace I meant initially is a Geocities one. These do have small ads in them. However, the webspace in the link in my previous post has no ads. If I have enough space on that, I'll use it then. --Hoplite.
