1.4.3 is released in src tarball, source rpm, and i386 rpm forms. Enjoy. -- Robert
- REQUIREMENTS So far we have tested on: Linux/i386, Linux/alpha, Linux/ia64, Solaris/sparc, FreeBSD/i386, FreeBSD/alpha, OpenBSD/i386, and Tru64. Any CPU architecture should work, as the code should be processor independent. All modern POSIX-compliant Unices with ncurses, gcc, and glibc should be compatible. We aim to support all resonable platforms and OSs. fping 2.x and the ncurses library are required. fping needs to be in your path.
v1.4.3 o fix lack of -a and -l flags (short versions of --alarm and --log) o merge FreeBSD ports upstream changes: - distribute manpage uncompressed - more strictly follow @prefix@ values: no hard coded paths Note: this means if you want the conf files in /etc you will need to do: ./configure --sysconfdir /etc
