pymorph 0.8 initial release. The pymorph Morphology Toolbox for Python is a powerful collection of latest state-of-the-art gray-scale morphological tools that can be applied to image segmentation, non-linear filtering, pattern recognition and image analysis. The pymorph Morphology Toolbox is an open source software for Morphological Image Analysis and Signal Processing written in Python. It is a companion resource for the book: Hands-on Morphological Image Processing , by Edward Dougherty and Roberto Lotufo, published by SPIE, Aug 2003. The following files are available: - pymorph-0.8.win32-py2.2.exe: contains pymorph 0.8 - pymorph-0.8-pkgs.win32-py2.2.exe: contains pymorph 0.8 and the required packages: PIL 1.1.4, Numeric 23.0, Gnuplot-py 1.6 and Gnuplot 3.7.3 win32 executables Unix/Linux dists will be available soon.
