Procinfo-NG is a complete rewrite of the old system monitoring app procinfo. The goal is to make more readable (and reusable) code and to restore broken functionality. Procinfo was written for Linux 1.2, and updated through 2.2. Procinfo-NG is for 2.6.

* Allow per-partition disc-stats to be toggled. Off by default. '-p' ** OOPS! Not documented yet. This will be fixed in a later release. This option likely won't get used much anyway. * showing disc-stats in 'blocks' was annoying and obscure. When '-b' is specified, show byte statistics instead. * Lots of code reorganizations, cleanups, etc. * Output format cleanups. * Various micro-optimizations to try to make the code more efficient. * fix some timeRoutines bugs, specifically mishandling of get_monthdays for February * Add a badly documented file, /etc/procinfo/skipIfaces ** The point is to be able to skip things like vnet or xen network interfaces, for which the statistics are uninteresting.
* Split out the diskStats code into its own cpp file. * remove one open-coded vector-sum, and just use sumVec() * Various templatizing of functions. * Fix a bug regarding Kernel 2.6.24
Add license and copyright notices to files, and fix several pending bugs. * ncurses is only initialized now if full-screen mode is enabled, so it should now work for periodic dumps. * Documented missing options, and removed 2 obsolete commandline-options, '-s' and '-f' (implied from other options)
* Add network bandwidth statistics * Add 'human' numbers to memory stats. commandline-option -H * Lots of code updates/reorganizations * "real" Memory stats were misaligned, and thus made very little sense. * Update IRQ stats to work with kernel 2.6.23 * Use ncurses to handle terminal/keyboard. * readFile now uses a dynamic line-buffer, and some more of the C++ file-I/O code. * Fix a heap leak. * fixup some column-widths * prettyPrint improvements * Numerous other changes and bugfixes.
