I was looking for a lot, but I couldn't find a better one than this project. Compliments and thanks.

Early days - so far doing what it claims and what I need.

Thanks for this awesome software. I spent some time looking for alternatives, and this is the best. Keep up the great work! Of course, its visual design could be modernised for elderly technophobe relatives, but what the heck. However, it might be a nice project for some University students to revamp the UI.

I have this application installed for many years on my homepage genealogie.hackemesser.de and it was always running satisfyingly. The only negative thing about it is that there are not enough open source developers engaged with this project to keep it bug free, state of the art.

After some [very old] threads that this was dead, it is good to see it alive and evolving. I've applied updates semi-regularly since 2014, up to now in 2019. I don't recall any updates causing new issues - so a strong testament to the care taken in maintenance.
